Persian Lime is a hybrid of Mexican lime & citron (huge yellow/green, lumpy lemon), has thorns, thicker skin, oval shaped, green skin that turns yellow when ripe, medium/large fruit, juicy, aromatic and acidic, light green/yellow pulp, cold sensitive.

Kaffir Lime is very small in size, rough, bumpy green fruit, thorny tree grown for unique aromatic levels used in Asian cooking, very seedy, ripens in January to April.
